Our Troupe
The Scheherazade Squad is a group of women who came together to enjoy the fascinating art of Middle Eastern style dance. Our dance style evolved from both Egyptian style Raks Sharki and the more flamboyant Turkish style. Our original teacher, Esh, was one of the "Sultan's Favorites" of "Odezza & the Sultan's Favorites". We are continuing the tradition of high quality, cutting edge Belly Dancing suitable for the entire family.
